K-Pop Round-up: Big Bang

Here's the latest single from Big Bang, famous for the Lollipop cellphone commercials and the currently popular Korean World Cup anthem with Kim Yu-na.  The song is entitled "Tell Me Goodbye."  I like the artistic design for this video and am curious where they filmed it--and where they got the old cars and clothes!  Enjoy!

  1. I'd like to thank you for introducing me to some new K-pop songs. I was in need of a new fix. :D From one Carolinian to another, would you recommend going to Korea? I'm thinking of teaching there myself, but am afraid of many things. Also, how did you find your teaching job?

P.S. - Thanks for this lovely blog. I've enjoyed reading your entries. Makes me feel like I was there...almost.

  2. Hey there! Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm glad that you enjoy the blog and the music. :)

I would definitely recommend coming to teach in Korea, especially if you're looking for a new experience to learn about yourself and a new culture. Teaching is full of rewards and struggles, but you get to develop yourself a lot as a person in a year's time. And if you're like me, you enjoy it so much you want to stay for more than a year! It's alright to feel afraid about so many unknown things. I was really scared of leaving my home and moving across the world by myself, but now I don't regret it for a moment.

I found my first job through a recruiter, called Access South Korea Now. I'd also contact Work n Play Recruiting, as well as Say Kimchi Recruiting. They are all favorable and trustworthy recruiters.

Feel free to ask any other questions you may have. I'm definitely open to helping out!
